About

Hi, my name is Uloma and I love to travel. I’m a Nigerian with a Canadian passport who feels most at home when I’m in Amsterdam.¬†For the next two years I’ll be based in Lusaka, Zambia working for the United Nations Capital Development Fund as a Knowledge Management Specialist. I’ve decided to use this blog as an avenue to share some of my stories “on the road”. I hope you enjoy reading my stories as much as I enjoy telling them.

I love to talk about many things but these are some of my favourite topics: self-development, travel, politics, Africa and the African diaspora, books, mental health, love and humour.

In my spare time, I write articles for She Leads Africa, I’m working with a friend to establish an NGO called Give Girls A Chance dedicated to improving access to quality education for girls in Nigeria, I’m learning French and constantly working on improving myself.
